NATIONAL COACHING DRAMA -2016- HERE'S YOUR HAT, WHAT'S YOUR HURRY!
So if the 'Peak Equestrian Body' isn't managing Equestrian coaching, who is? What about the insurance ? Just an e mail, services no longer required, goodbye, no explanations.
Yes the Board can do this , no questioned asked or answered:
THE E.A. CONSTITUTION SERVES MEMBERS - NOT !
From the (pre Sep. 2020) EA Constitution
30.6 Revocation of Delegation
The Board at any time may by instrument in writing and without showing cause,
revoke wholly or in part any delegation made under this Rule, and may otherwise
amend, repeal or veto or not apply or consider itself bound by any decision made
by such committee under this Rule and may on giving notice and notwithstanding
the terms of such instrument, terminate the operation of any such committee.
READ MORE ON THE MEMBER DISENFRANCHISING E.A. CONSTITUTION
The 2020 EA Revised Constitution still constitutionally denies their members the right to utilise the National Sport Tribunal
The revised EA constitution specifically states that EA the only arbitration available to members. They specifically deny their members the use of the National Sport Tribunal. One can only ask why? EA currently has a number of court cases pending over decisions they have made. It is illogical that they would not be pleased to hand contentious issues to the National Tribunal. Could this be another mode of control? The issue of pending court cases should be examined regarding Equestrian Australia’s insurance protecting directors, timing and voluntary administration.
FROM THE EA ANNUAL REPORT FINANCIALS 2016-2017- HORSE PURCHASED $75,138
Ceasy was purchased in January 2015 by Equestrian Australia
…..subsequently sold in the financial year ending 30 June 2017. The loss on sale was recorded at $30,138.
Is it E.A.’s core business to purchase horses for (Para) riders?
Was there a public application for a rider for said horse?

JUST SHUT UP AND PUT UP – BRINGING THE SPORT INTO DISREPUTE:
SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY 2010
The E.A. and Branch Boards appear to be made of 'Teflon" when it comes to their media policy, unfortunately the same does not apply to their grass-roots members. The Branches wield their policy , specifically 'Bringing the sport into disrepute' clause' without mercy. Apparently speaking the truth and/or disagreeing with board actions comes under the 'Bringing the sport into disrepute' category
Where even volunteers are silenced - THE POLICY : E.A. SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY 2018
"Policy Application This policy applies to all members of EA, and EA’s employees, officers (including the Board of Directors and National Discipline Committee Members), administrators, volunteers, national squad athletes, coaches, officials (including Veterinarian officials), team managers and State branches, as well as associated interested persons who have some form of ‘duty’ on behalf of EA."
So what do members do when their State Branch won't listen and they have no direct line to E.A.?
MONEY MATTERS
E.A .SOLVENCY QUESTIONABLE!
EQUESTRIAN VICTORIA BRANCH
EV POSTS AN OPERATING LOSS OF MORE THAN $289,000-2014
HORSES MOUTH COMMENT- Apparently Solvency and the Corporations Act isn't an issue for E.A. and E. Vic.
